Gempak users, I have made available the Unidata release of GEMPAK 5.6.H for download from the Unidata web portal. This release incorporates many new additions, contributions from the user community as well as bug fixes and perfomance improvements. See "What's New" at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/gempak/GEMPAK5.6/whats_new.html#5.6H Special thanks are offered to Art Person, Christian Page, Stonie Cooper, Robert Mullenax, Daryl Herzmann, and all the attendees of the GEMPAK training workshop for contributions and identification of "undocumented features". If you had downloaded the preliminary 5.6.H tarfile created for the GEMPAK application workshop, you should download this official distribution since the previous tar file contained some work in progress. This release of GEMPAK 5.6.H includes support for 16/24 bit displays as describe in the above URL. As always, please direct specific support questions to address@hidden.
