I'm assuming you are refering to drawing the line in GEMPAK.
You can use gpanot, such as:
GDFILE =
SATFIL =
RADFIL =
PROJ = lcc
GAREA = uslcc
PANEL = 0
DEVICE = xw
CLEAR = n
SHAPE = line
INFO = 1
LOCI = #30;-115/40;-77
LINE = 5
CTYPE = c
GEMPAK-GPANOT>
The above will draw a line from 30N 115W to 40N 77W.
