Thanks Steve, That worked just fine for my zones. I also have as problem with making the "yesterday", and "day-2" button have any affect with metars and some other data . It plots today's data regardless of how I've set the preference. Some data seems to work and maybe since I've placed these data in directories with 4 digits for the year, this be the issue... thoughts? Thx, Glenn Unidata Support <address@hidden> on 10/25/2000 07:54:46 PM To: Glenn Rutledge/NCDC cc: Unidata Support <address@hidden> Subject: 20001025: Zone Fcsts in nwx >From: address@hidden >Organization: UCAR/Unidata >Keywords: 200010251748.e9PHme425572 > > >Steve, >I can't plot the new zone fcsts in nwx. It looks like you've made the >changes for the new WMO headers etc. I see the zones goto ldmconnect in >pqact but I con't see that in nawips/bin/sol? Is there a decoder? Where >is it?? Thanks, Glenn > > Glenn, ldmConnect is a perl script in our anonymous ftp area under pub/decoders/decoders.tar.Z. We had to use this under FOS because zones were transmitted in pieces, eg the PAA PAB PAC.....PZZ parts. ldm Connect would reassemble the parts into a single file. I think NOAAPort allows all of these to be a single product (eg no splitting up in pieces), so you can probably be safe just filing the zones anyway. But...if you ever need to reassemble pieces, you know where ldmConnect is!
