Hello,

At this point we don't have plans to update the Model Comparison to include 
global data, however my suggestion to you would be to load your GOES 18 and 
then load the GFS 1p0 data on top which will give you global coverage including 
over the PNW, BC, and Alaska. There are some predefined parameters in the 
Models menu under "GFS 1.00 Global". And all available parameters can be 
accessed using the Volume Browser. 

Once you have a few displays set up that you like, you can save them as a 
procedure or display 
(https://unidata.github.io/awips2/cave/bundles-and-procedures/) so you can just 
load them directly.
