> Ok and one more similar question -- in /awips2/edex/logs we see YYYYMMDD.zip > files being created daily since we installed and began running edex. We did > a search on the support archives and google but could not find info on how to > regulate these files. > > Is there a purge parameter to control these or likewise with the caveData > cache files will we need to write our own purge routine? > Hi Pete, For those files, you can modify the /awips2/edex/conf/resources/purge.properties file on your EDEX. The last couple lines: # Number of days of logs beyond current day to keep uncompressed purge.log.uncompressed.days=2 # Number of days of logs beyond current day to keep compressed purge.log.compressed.days=256 where purge.log.uncompressed.days is how long to keep the log files before compressing them into a zipped file and purge.log.compressed.days is how long to keep the zipped files before purging.
