Hi Tony, > Yes I am referring to the latter half of that. Where I restart my computer, > CAVE works. I stop CAVE, then start CAVE again and it does not work. Then I > restart the computer and it works. That is very strange. I've never encountered that kind of behavior before. I have asked one of my colleagues if he has any other ideas what might be causing it. Hopefully, the machine-restart is an okay work-around for now. Have you considered installing the CentOS7 Virtual Machine for Windows? That might also be a better solution: http://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/#method-1-linux-virtual-machine I will let you know if I hear back with any other suggestions. --Shay Carter She/Her/Hers AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: SEM-768767 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
