Hello, Currently, Unidata's AWIPS distribution is only available specifically to CentOS 7 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (along with Windows and Mac). There has been no testing with Fedora. Our downloads page has specific requirements: http://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/ And it is recommended to use the awips_install.sh script to install CAVE to help ensure other dependencies are satisfied. However, I don't think this will work with Fedora.
