Hi there, Unfortunately, our current AWIPS team here at Unidata started working shortly after the main (and only) AWIPS developer unexpectedly passed away in the summer of 2019. So, we lost a lot of knowledge about the prior development and releases of AWIPS because of that tragic event. Currently, our actual user base of University research and education applications, has not expressed a desire or interest in the warning or watch capabilities of AWIPS so this feature is not something that is at the top of our priority list.
