Yes, on this step you must create these new variables. Three variables need to be created, the first two are User variables: - PYTHONPATH - PYTHONHOME These must be created in that same portion you took a screenshot of by hitting the "New..." button, setting the name to PYTHONHOME and then setting the location to something like: C:\Users\[username]\miniconda3 Some goes for PYTHONPATH, but you set that to: C:\Users\[username]\miniconda3\Lib The third variable is a System variable called JAVA_HOME, which you add by selecting the "New..." button in the bottom half of that window and then entering the following path: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_181 These steps can be found in our tutorial video at the 3:13 mark: https://youtu.be/QAuBSsSp9Ak?t=192 Please let me know if that answers your question.
