>I am just curious, is there an option to add a sig severe option to your >convective outlook? If so, how do you do this? The Convective Outlooks are based off products the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) produces and the regular convective outlooks do not have a "Sig Severe" option. Additionally, we don't have the option (or have the expertise) to add additional information. However, if you load the Hail Outlook product issued by SPC in CAVE, that will plot the hatched area which contains the area of "probability of hail 2" or larger within 25 miles of a point" which can be considered "Sig Severe" (when applicable). Does that help?
