[AWIPS #HNZ-488028]: Custom locations in AWIPS?

You can use the points from the Tools menu - there is some documentation here: 
http://unidata.github.io/awips2/cave/d2d-tools/#points

In the next build of CAVE there will be a Import Shapefile option. Hopefully 
that build will be coming out in the next month or so.
