Hi,

I haven't set up a NoMachine or a RealVNC server myself, but have heard both
work. These are separate software packages not related to AWIPS. Their websites
have downloads and documentation:

https://www.nomachine.com/
https://www.realvnc.com/en/

As for VPN, you'll have to work with your IT to figure that out (if it is
needed).

Once you've got that in place, I can help you with the AWIPS install.

Note: we are not associated with NOAA, we at Unidata are funded by NFS to
redistribute the AWIPS package to the University and Research community.

Thanks,
