After the DLL notification, it tells me that "Microsoft C/C++ > Compiler Driver has stopped working" if that helps in narrowing down the > problem. We're sorry you're experiencing issues trying to install CAVE. This is an error we haven't actually seen before. Would you mind telling us what version of Windows you're running? Are you running on a physical machine? Or is it a Virtual Machine? Did you have any versions of python installed before attempting the CAVE installation instructions? I know you said you followed the steps, were you careful to use the links we post and only use the specific versions we state? We also have a video on the website as well which I think you've come across? Hopefully we can help you figure something out. --Shay Carter She/Her/Hers AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: SKE-739638 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
