Hi there, >I'm looking at using the warngen functionality for UAV forecasting of Keep out >zones. I note that the warngen is non-operational in your release however is >the source code available? All the source code we have is available to the public -- however we do not have all the same source code as the operational version of AWIPS used by NWS, so it is possible we are missing some of the code for warnings, just an fyi. There is some documentation on our website on how to set up a development environment found here: http://unidata.github.io/awips2/dev/awips-development-environment/ All of our code is on github, which is described in that link I just sent, but if you want to go straight there you can access it with this link: https://github.com/Unidata/awips2 Please note, AWIPS is distributed across *several* repositories -- this is noted on the github page and on our development instructions page. At this time, that is about all the help we can offer for you. Please let us know if this is helpful and good luck in your endeavor! --Shay Carter AWIPS Software Engineer UCAR - Unidata If you're interested, please feel free to fill out a survey about the support you receive: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDIkdk8qUMgq8ZdM4jhP-ubJPUOr-mJMQgxInwoAWoV5QcOw/viewform Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: UMW-810392 Department: Support AWIPS Priority: Normal Status: Open =================== NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
