Hi there, The space is what's causing the problem. If you're doing this from the command line, you need to have a \ before the space, so it would look like this: cp NUCAPS-EDR_v1r0_npp_s201802141145110_e201802141145410_c201802141331570.nc.wmo IUTNO3\ KNES-my-file-name.NC That should create a new file with the proper prefix.
