Re: [awips2-users] fresh install

I also had this issue.. I installed netcdf manually from the 15.1.3 repo, netcdf version has not changed.

Fresh EDEX install on fresh centos 6.2 install using ./installEDEX.sh results in:

Error: Package: awips2-database-16.1.5-1.noarch (awips2repo)
           Requires: netcdf

However when installing awips2-data.gfe-16.1.5-1.noarch prior to install results in:

Running Transaction
            Erasing : awips2-data.gfe-16.1.5-1.noarch
            Verifying         : awips2-data.gfe-16.1.5-1.noarch
 
Removed:
            awips2-data.gfe-16.1.5-1.noarch
----
 
And then returns the prior error “Requires: netcdf” which the ‘data’ repository is supposed to contain J
