Dear Michel Mesquita, > I would like to thank you very much for the instructions you sent me. You're most welcome. > After I tried your suggestion, I still had some problems, then I had > to remove all references to Perl in the make file and that seemed to > work perfectly. I don't know why, but there's some conflict with Perl. It can be difficult to get the UDUNITS package (or any package) to work with Perl because the same compilation environment must be used. The Perl interface can be bypassed by setting the environment variable PERL to the empty string before executing the "configure" script. > I have also added -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 within the CPPFLAGS variable. This won't be a problem beginning with the next release. > Thank you! > > Kindest regards, > > Michel > Michel Mesquita > http://web.mac.com/mmeclimate Regards, Steve Emmerson Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: OKW-899269 Department: Support UDUNITS Priority: Normal Status: Closed
