[UDUNITS #GYX-412442]: Installing UDUNITS

I just learned the following:

    One can get a 30 day evaluation license for Intel's ifort compiler for
    free.  I went through the process in order to respond to a netCDF inquiry
    and it was reasonably painless.  If the need is transitory, then the
    30 day evaluation license should work nicely.
