The above indicates that the environment variable CPPFLAGS did NOT
contain the string "-DpgiFortran" when the configure(1) script was
executed. I mistakenly told you to set the CPPFLAG environment variable
instead.
Execute the command "make distclean" and then re-execute the configure
script with the following settings:
CFLAGS='-O -fno-builtin' # same as before
CPPFLAGS=-DpgiFortran # correct spelling
