I mistakenly told you to set the CPPFLAG environment variable instead. Execute the command "make distclean" and then re-execute the configure script with the following settings: CFLAGS='-O -fno-builtin' # same as before CPPFLAGS=-DpgiFortran # correct spelling Sorry 'bout that.
