I just wanted to jump in here with a couple quick thoughts: 1. pygrib is available on windows from conda-forge (Thanks to yours truly--yes, I'll toot my own horn here. <laughs>) https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/pygrib/files 2. If your windows machines have access to your local AWIPS/EDEX servers, you could use our python-awips package (or the Data Access Framework) to directly access that information--assuming that the grids you want are indeed sitting on said EDEX servers https://unidata.github.io/python-awips/ Hope that helps, Ryan > Hi Sean, > > I really appreciate the explanation.
