motherlode GRIB model data unreliable

This archive contains answers to questions sent to Unidata support through mid-2025. Note that the archive is no longer being updated. The motherlode GRIB data server is intermittently failing. We are are working to fix the problem, but it will likely be a few hours before we have reliable service.
