UNIDATA SEMINAR: DR. STEFANO NATIVI ON METADATA

Metadata in the Framework of Geospatial Information Interoperability

A survey will be given of the metadata types utilized for achieving
interoperability among heterogeneous sources of geospatial
information. Some common interoperability solutions will be briefly
reported. OpenGIS and ISO TC 211 common models will be briefly
introduced, as well as XML utility in such context.

The seminar will be held in the main auditorium of FL2 at 1:30 on
January 23rd.  Please join us.
