All,

This is an invitation to the presentation and demo of the prototype DLESE Catalog System, Thursday, November 15 at 9:30 AM in the DPC Conference Room, Rm. 3134 in FL4.

The system is built using a JSP and Java servlet framework, and provides for creating, managing and discovering the XML metadata records that represent cataloged resources. The DCS has been designed with an eye toward realizing a distributable collection building/management tool for use by individual collection owners or personal libraries. While not quite there yet, the tool represents a significant step forward and is unique in some of its features.

We look forward to your participation,
DCS Development Team
