Greetings! Thanks for sharing the colab link, that's made it really easy to test. It appears that the version of cartopy included on the version of Linux running colab is really out of date: Cartopy 0.14.2 Now it would be nice if MetPy didn't fail there since you're not using CartoPy, but that's not something we can readily solve to get you up and running. I got it to work using the following in the first cell: !pip install metpy !apt-get -qq install libproj-dev libgeos-dev !pip install shapely --no-binary shapely cartopy Hope this helps, Ryan > Hi, > > Thanks for getting back to me!
