>From: Joe Zabransky <address@hidden> >Organization: Plymouth State >Keywords: 199907201452.IAA23065 NOAAPORT vendors Joe, > I believe you had sent me, within the past year, a list of NOAAport >vendors. That information has "escaped" my mailbox. You know, you have to watch your mailboxes continuously to make sure that things like this don't escape :-) >I tried the >server search on your web page and got information on NOAAport, but no >allusion to vendors. I couldn't find a list of vendors in our web pages either. >I am aware of only 3 vendors at the moment --- >Alden, Unisys and SSEC. Do you have any further info. I did the following to get the information: o went to http://home.netscape.com o selected snap.com as my search engine (I find snap.com and google.com to be particularly useful) o used the pharse "noaaport receiver" as a search key o found a reference to the "NOAAPORT Users Guide" at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/noaaport/html/noaaport.shtml o went to the page and found a "Manufacturers List" link: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/noaaport/html/manu_lst.shtml The final page lists eight references for "NOAAPORT Receive Systems". I'll let you go to the link since I don't want to include information in our tracking system that will probably become stale (I am betting that the NOAAPORT page will remain uptodate even if the list of manufacturers changes). >Thanks much. You are welcome. Tom
