Hello Dr. Rothfuss, My apologies for the delayed response! I want to clarify that we are discussing the same event. You mention a netCDF workshop scheduled on Nov 3-Nov 4. The only thing I see on our calendar in that timeframe is the Unidata Python workshop, scheduled October 17-19. The Python workshop has several sections dedicated to netCDF. Is this the event you are referencing? If not, can you please provide a link to the event you are asking about? Assuming that this is the workshop you are curious about, the netCDF sessions are hands-on and technical in nature, specific to working with netCDF in a Python programming environment. While there will be some context and background provided, the majority of the netCDF material will be technical in nature. As such, you may feel a little out of place, although if you are interested in learning scientific Python development (beyond netCDF), it may be worth your while. I hope this answers your question, and once again, my sincere apologies for the delayed response.
