Hello, It appears that you have installed netcdf in `/usr/local/netcdf-4.4.2`, which means ncdump would reside in `/usr/local/netcdf-4-4.2/bin`. Can you confirm if this file exists in this location? If it does not, what is the output when you run `make install`? If the file does exist, you will need to add the location `/usr/local/netcdf-4.4.2bin` to your system path. I hope this helps, -Ward > Dear address@hidden > > I'm trying installing the netCDF-fortran-4.4.2 into my linux machine. > I sent you e-mail how to install it. > When I typed the correct CPPFLAGS, it seemed that the install had been > finished > with no error message. > However, the message "bash: ncdump: command not found" was received when I > tried to use "ncdump" coomand. > Had the install not been completely finished ? > What should I do to use the ncdump command. > Let me know about it, please. > > Dept. of Environmental and Engineering Science > Gunma Universiry > > Associated Prof. Ken-ichi UZAKI > > 376-8515 1-5-1 Tenjin-cho, Kiryu City, Gunma, Japan > Tel.+81-277-30-1643 Fax.+81-277-30-1601 > > Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: ASR-689767 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
