Hi Shannon, In addition to what Ward reported, I've noticed we get a fair number of support questions from - users of WRF models - users of MATLAB, IDL, and R - developers and users of ESRI and other GIS software, such as ArcGIS - developers of new analysis and visualization packages for geoscience data, such as most of the 3rd-party tools mentioned in our "Software for Manipulating or Displaying NetCDF Data" web page - users wanting to convert netCDF data to Excel or text - users wanting to convert satellite data from HDF-EOS into netCDF-CF Users of netCDF-Java software are primarily data providers or service providers, making large archives of data available on remote servers. This is a small percentage of users, but a large fraction of netCDF data that is accessed remotely or through service interfaces. --Russ > I'm with the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) and as you may know, > we distribute netCDF data.
