[netCDF #QUG-322321]: Examples referenced on website

When you go to

  http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs/variables.html

do you see a bar below the title with buttons labeled

   Main Page     Related Pages     Functions     Files     Examples

?  If so, selecting the "Examples" button should take you to

   http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs/examples.html

which has a list of 10 complete example programs in C that should help.

Those same examples in C, along with equivalent code for the Fortran-90, 
Fortran-77, C++, Python, and other languages are also available in this
more extensive collection of examples:

There is also an online workshop that has some code examples:
