We don't have an ECCN, since the software has no encryption/security
functionality.
Here's the answers to the questionnaire:
1. What is the basic functionality of the product?
NetCDF (network Common Data Form) is an interface for
array-oriented data access and a library that provides an
implementation of the interface. The netCDF library also defines a
machine-independent format for representing scientific data. For
more information, see the netCDF website:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/netcdf/
2. Does it have a license manager?
No.
3. What tools were used in the development of the software (examples
include .NET, VBA, SQL, Excel etc)? Be sure to include version
numbers.
C, Fortran, C++, and Java development environments were used. The
product has been under continuous maintenance and development since
1989, so many versions of tools were used.
4. Are there any embedded third party components embedded/delivered with
this application? If yes to the above question, please list:
It's not an application, it's a library with associated utilities.
There are no embedded components.
5. Is any additional encryption added to the application beyond what is
offered by the tools? If yes to the above question, please answer
the following:
There is no encryption used.
6. What strength or key length (64 bit, 128 bit, etc)?
7. Is it Symmetric or Asymmetric?
