[netCDF #MBH-979924]: unable to get access to a software

I have been unable to find the source.  It looks like we never actually
had a copy of the source in our FTP directory:

  ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/contrib/

but instead just had a link to the URL

  http://www.gps.caltech.edu/~sigma/fortran_tools

where the ncextract source was stored, the work of a CalTech student
Shao Yi Lee who informed us about the availability of the software in
November 2006.

That link no longer works, but it's possible someone at CalTech has
backups of that student's files.  Sorry I can't be of more help.
