Unfortunately I have not had much luck working on the ifort/cygwin port. I am going to close this support issue. If you make any progress on this please let me know and I will include the fix in the netCDF distribution. Further discussion of this issue could best take place in the new netcdf-porting mailing list: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/mailinglist/mjd/netcdf-porting.html Please check the netCDF daily snapshot page for the ifort/cygwin platform.
