[netCDF #QGZ-865866]: NC output

NetCDF files cannot just be concatenated to combine the data, but there is 
freely available software that can combine netCDF files along specified 
dimensions.

One possibility is to use the freely available NCO (netCDF operators) package, 
briefly described here:

The NCO Users' Guide includes descriptions of several programs that can 
concatenate input netCDF files along specified dimensions to produce a merged 
output netCDF file:
