Hi Paula, Ed is on vacation for another week, so I'll try to answer your question. Since we just released netCDF version 3.6.2 and it works better with Fortran-90 compilers than 3.6.1, you might try building it instead if you have problems with the 3.6.1 Fortran-90 interface. You can get 3.6.2 here: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/release-notes-3.6.2.html The links there give you the sources used to build the libraries on any Unix/Linux system, following the simple directions here: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/docs/netcdf-install/Quick-Instructions-for-Installing-NetCDF-on-Unix.html If something goes wrong, see tthe trouble-shooting box on the netCDF home page: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/ We don't use MATLAB here, so you might have better luck getting answers to MATLAB/netCDF questions from other MATLAB users or from some of the developers who support a netCDF interface to MATLAB, as listed here: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#CSIRO-MATLAB http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#MexEPS http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#MEXNC http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html#MATLAB --Russ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: ACN-385459 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
