[netCDF #TLK-216952]: netcdf large file support

Hi Art,

It's possible to create files > 2 GiBytes that are classic netCDF files (format 
variant 1, using only 32-bit file ofsets), but only under fairly restricted 
conditions on the structure of the data.  This is described in the

The large File Support we added with the version 2 format variant that included 
64-bit offsets removed most of the restrictions on large files.  If you have
