Hi Richard, Are you sure you are invoking "make uninstall" from the top-level source directory contining files such as README, Makefile.am, and Makefile? I just tried building and installing netcdf-3.6.2-beta4, then from the same directory invoked "make uninstall", and it seemed to work fine: $ make uninstall Making uninstall in f90 rm -f '/tmp/man/man3/netcdf_f90.3' rm -f '/tmp/include/typesizes.mod' rm -f '/tmp/include/netcdf.mod' Making uninstall in fortran ...
