You shouldn't have to have a experience working with netCDF files, since I'm
not planning to assume anything. In only a one-day workshop, there's not
really much time for a lot of details about the APIs, but I'll definitely be
aiming at developers, discussing the libraries, data models, architecture, and
utilities. As far as I know, the participants don't even all know a common
programming language, so the workshop will have to be somewhat language
independent.
This workshop is an experiment, since we've never given it before. If you're
interested in scientific data access, I think you will get something out of it.
