Hi Dave, > Lastly, it says that the workshop is for intermediate and advanced > programmers. How much programming experience should one have with > working with netCDF files? You shouldn't have to have a experience working with netCDF files, since I'm not planning to assume anything. In only a one-day workshop, there's not really much time for a lot of details about the APIs, but I'll definitely be aiming at developers, discussing the libraries, data models, architecture, and utilities. As far as I know, the participants don't even all know a common programming language, so the workshop will have to be somewhat language independent. This workshop is an experiment, since we've never given it before. If you're interested in scientific data access, I think you will get something out of it. --Russ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: XFI-750389 Department: Support netCDF Priority: Normal Status: Closed
