Very good. Can you tell us which distribution of Linux
you are using?

This is not enough information for us to diagnose your problem. Please
review the Reporting Problems section of the netCDF installation
instructions at:
http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/netcdf/INSTALL.html
and send us the output requested in step 9. This will allow us to
fully understand your problem and provide ideas on how to solve

For interest: I lived in Tehran as a small boy in the mid 1950s. It
would be interesting to see all of the changes that have take place
since I was last there in 1958.
