I guess I don't totally understand what you are asking. For the C interface, the entry points are in the library except 'ncding' is 'ncdinq' and 'ncving' is 'ncvinq'. As to exactly where they are in the library, I can't say. Exactly which interface are you trying to use (e.g., C, Fortran, Java)? Tom
