If there are any other C compilers available for your itanium platform, e.g. gcc, a good test for whether you are running into a compiler bug would be to independently compile with gcc, or even just compile the file in question, libsrc/putget.c, with gcc. If that's possible and works, it would demonstrate the compiler problem and also get you a little further toward getting the wrf model working ... --Russ
