20010809: building "-i8" Fortran interface

I was unable to build the netCDF package on our IRIX64 system using the
native compilers and the "-i8" option. The problem is that a crucial
C macro (NF_INT_IS_C_...) in the file "fortran/ncfortran.h" could not
be defined. I suspect, therefore, that there's something wrong with
the netCDF package that you built. You should probably check it very
carefully.
