That's wonderful, thanks for all the effort that went into the Japanese version of the manual. I suggest that we include a link to your version of the manual from our netCDF documentation web page at http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/docs.html and I'll also create an entry announcing the new manual for the "What's New with NetCDF" page at http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/whatsnew.html The URL we link to would be maintained by you, unless you have difficulty acquiring persistent web space for such a document, in which case we would be happy to provide space on our host. So please just send me a URL that I can use, and I'll let you know when I have the above changes made, subject to your approval. We may also want to announce the existence of the new document to the netcdfgroup mailing list. Just for your information, my 16-year-old daughter Keely is currently taking a beginning Japanese language course, which she will continue next year in high school. She is very interested in Japanese popular culture (Anime, J-pop music, etc.). She might be surprised to learn that something I helped write has been translated into a language that makes it worth reading :-) ... --Russ _____________________________________________________________________ Russ Rew UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden http://www.unidata.ucar.edu
