If you want to get the binary version of netCDF 3.4 (already built),
just use
ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/binary/hpux_10.20-hp9000/netcdf-3.4.tar.Z
for your "ses" machine or
ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/binary/hpux_11.00-hp9000/netcdf-3.4.tar.Z
for "ges" (if it's not already there, this file will be available shortly).
If you want to build the netCDF libraries and executables from source,
just follow the directions in the INSTALL file or use the more recent
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/INSTALL
If you have problems, please see the section on "REPORTING PROBLEMS"
at the end of the INSTALL file and follow the instructions on what we
need to help us diagnose the problem.
