Could you tell me how to install netcdf-3.5a > next? Thank you very much. The netcdf-3.5a version was a test release, created temporarily and only to test some changes for a Cray platform. The latest release that we support is still netCDF version 3.4. This is a source release, available from ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/netcdf.tar.Z We know that netCDF version 3.4 has been tested and works on the IBM RS/6000 AIX platform. There is also a binary release for AIX that does not require compiling, available from ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/binary/aix_4.2-rs6000/netcdf-3.4.tar.Z It would be better to use either the source release or the binary release until we have tested version 3.5 and announced its availability.
