By the way, the above problem is in the testing of the old netCDF-2
Fortran API and not the new netCDF-3 Fortran API. You should go ahead
and manually test the new API. If an error occurs there, then you *do*
have a problem.
To manually test the new Fortran API, do the following:
1. Drop into the nf_test/ subdirectory.
2. Execute the command "make test".
Redirect standard output and standard error to a file.
Send the file to me if something goes wrong.
