Before you try the installation procedure I sent you, you should replace
your version of the netCDF package with the latest one (version 2.4.1).
It's available at the following URL

    ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/

The installation steps are the same as the ones I already sent you.
