netCDF library for Windows NT

Hi,

I'm sending this note to people who had asked about the availability of
Unidata netCDF software for Windows NT.

This note is to announce the availability of a port of netCDF to Windows NT.
The current beta release of netCDF 2.4 is available in compressed tar form
from:

   ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/netcdf/netcdf-2.4-beta.tar.Z

The supplied Makefiles are for Windows NT 3.51 using Visual C++ 2.2 and
Fortran Powerstation 1.0.

Thanks to Tomas Johannesson, National Energy Authority, Iceland and Donald
Denbo, Pacific Northwest Laboratory for helping with the Windows NT port.
