Hmm... The documentation appears to be out-of-date. I'll have to fix that. > So why is it a "very old version" ? Version 5.003 is several years old. It doesn't understand the POLLUTE variable, which is necessary to build the netCDF-Perl package with more recent version of the perl(1) package. The perl authors changed the way 3rd-party packages interface with the perl(1) utility and it was necessary to adapt the netCDF-Perl package to the new conventions. Regards, Steve Emmerson
