The perl utility says that it can't find the symbol "ncopts" in that
shared library -- so I'd like to know what's in it.  Please drop into
the "perl/" subdirectory of the netcdf-perl package and send me the
output from the following command:

    nm -g blib/arch/auto/NetCDF/NetCDF.so
