[netCDFJava #KRC-466779]: query for CF point netcdf

Hi Ghansham,
 
we have a list of some utilities and tools that use netcdf here:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html

nc3 and nc4-classic have the same data model and clients that use either 
netCDF-C or netCDF-JAVA should be able to handle nc4-classic files.
